Services

Victim Services

Our advocates aid victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, past trauma, or addiction due to current or past violence or trauma.

Prevention

Financial assistance, rapid rehousing, and emergency shelter services are available for individuals or families who are homeless or at risk.

Education

We can visit your school, church, or organization to educate the community on signs and risks of trauma, violence, and addiction.

Center Expands Shelter Space

Serving Southwest Virginia for over 40 years, Family Crisis Support Services recently unveiled its new and much-needed $4.2 million resource center in Wise County to better support victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, homelessness, and other crises.

New Shelter Complex Built

Family Crisis Support Services celebrated the opening of its new Crisis Resource Center recently with a dedication ceremony attended by over 100 officials and supporters. This modern facility doubles the agency’s capacity to shelter people in need.

Grant Helps Build ADA Playground

The Bristol chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities raised $804,560 in 2023 to support child-focused agencies, including Family Crisis Support Services, which received a grant to help build an ADA-compliant playground.
